I recently enjoyed an exceptional week at the Lock, which far exceeded my high expectations for comfort and service. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in late and ensuring my stay was seamless. The in-room facilities were thoughtfully arranged; I particularly appreciated the electric kettle, making it easy to indulge in a comforting cup of tea after long days of exploring. The room was immaculate, with a flat-screen TV that provided entertainment during my downtime, and the added bonus of the Nook Cafe nearby allowed for delightful meals without venturing too far. I wholeheartedly recommend the Lock for anyone seeking a convenient and enriching stay near archaeological sites.
